SHAMI KABAB





Shami kebabs or patties may be the best kebabs in the world. These kebabs are made exceptionally silky due to the addition of the channa dal and the fine mincing in an electric mincer/blender. The result is a smooth, soft, melt-in-the-mouth patties.



Preparation time:30 min

Serves :2-3


INGREDIENTS:
 
  • Boneless mutton 200 gms
  • Chana dal  ½ cup(wash and soak it for 10 min)
  • Onions 1 small half(diced)
  • Green chili 1
  • Oil 4 tbl sp
  • Coconut paste 1tsp
  • Chili powder ½ tsp
  • Coriander powder ½ tsp
  • Ginger Garlic paste ½ tsp
  • Garam masala (whole)-cinnamon stick ½ inch ,2 cloves.
  • Shahi zeera ¼ tsp
  • Salt to taste 
  • Salad-bell peppers(shimla mirch) sliced for garnishing 


METHOD


Step 1: Take a pan mix all the above ingredients, add 1 cup of water and cook them until the mutton is tender .(the water added to cook should get dried up otherwise the shaami kababs will dissolve when u fry)

Step 2: Let the mixture cool down . Grind them to smooth batter.

Step 3: Now shape them into patty(round ,triangle ,oval any shape u want)

Step 4:Heat oil in a non stick pan. Fry the kababs until they turn golden brown.

Step5 :Garnish it with mixed salad and lemon. Your SHAAMI KABAB IS READY TO SERVE
